Collecting Fond Memories

after spendin my entire afternoon sorting them up, ive decided to just do an entry on the some of the most memorable days in my life.

a post on golden orb

the fan on my golden orb, attached to my vga card had passed away about 2 months ago.
for the past 2 months. i haf experienced a substancial number of auto restarts due to the heat threshold of my vga card. as a result i even had to place my stand fan to blow right into my half opened computer.
today me and marvin finally went to sim lim tower then to sim lim square back to the old shop bell systems. i am surprised the fatty still remembered me and such a great help he was, even suggested place a cpu chasis fan on top of my already gigantic card. then he helped me unscrewed the spoilt fan and i went to sim lim tower to get a replacement. due to the non conventional round shape, it took me quite a while to find the shop that has it. now the fan is working fine in my computer and i am happy.

saturday soccer. original meeting time was at 0930 but i haf to be the earliest cause i am the one with the ball. and in order not to wake my brother up so i get to wear his street soccer shoe. i haf to leave a little earlier. closed the house door too heavily and he woke up so no choice have to wear new balance on that day. then i went to the court next to bedok view primary, to my amazement already 3 malay kids sitting down and changing shoes. no choice i have to shift to siglap cc street soccer court to see if the court is being occupied. luckily, its not so i just did some shooting practise first. and then from the basketball court came "geylang" my 30+ yr old childhood soccer fren. he came and did some passing with me while waiting for the others. and so they came and we gladly took a nice picture. with jiun bin absent.

scorching noon sun resulted in many sunburn victims and yips high fever.

my dad high blood pressure. although he quitted smoking few months back already but the permanent damage has already been done. and his 3 kopi/day lifestyle must come to an end. hmm i think the things that will keep us worrying is that hbp actually lead to heart diseases, stroke and kidney failure. on top of that, wats worrying him is actually the highly probable daily medication with no ending. hmm 158 is totally not a good reading and he must see the doctor soon to do some checkup again.

today tru PPLive, coolest program on earth, i freaking watched young and dangerous again.
this time ...

the story of "Cork" 山鸡. how him and gigi leung grew from childhood playmates to lovers. but due to the fact that he [chen xiao chun] is a triad society member, it causes him and gigi leung to be seperated so many times. until she became miss hong kong, he finally got to meet up with her and both of them decided to get married. but on the wedding day, the 洪兴 Boss kanna lup by another gang, so in his bridegroom attire "Cork" went to save his boss and killed another lou lou just when the police came. he got into jail for 4 years for manslaughter without finishing the wedding. when he came out, gigi was already married to a drug lord in europe and they came over to hongkong for 13th sis wedding and they met up in coincidence. "Cork" decided to snatch her back from the drug lord no matter what and surprising he suceeded. So thinking the story was going to be ended happily, on the way to their 2nd wedding day again, Gigi leung got assasinated in the car by a passing by motorist. she was just sitting at the front passenger seat beside "cork" with him being the driver. The mastermind behind the assasination was found out to be the drug lord.
After all, they were just not meant to be husband and wife for this lifetime ...

street soccer on monday night

where at ? at the street soccer court near my place. cause siglap cc, the place we played last time, had line dancing lessons all the ah pehs ah mas line dancing in the street soccer court in and out of the goal posts happily.
today purposely never work just to play soccer.

so i went there at 6pm to see if the court is booked cause i live nearest. and they all 1 by 1 all late. ghim hong come second followed by daniel and frens, finally yuan wei then mani. make me wait 20+ mins.
so this pic is how the place looked like before it turned dark.

today i think i played quite well. not as shag as before too. maybe because i am wearing my brothers street soccer shoe. daniel and frens are so friendly i think i can remember their names.
sry daniel for the bad knock on ur injured leg. i will put takling easy on u next time. sorry sorry.
oh i just remember daniel zammed tays lampa and me on the head. daniel is such a monster.

forget to mention about today's events. worked at starhub until damn sianz.
then jeremy got this damn cool job offer in pan pacific as bell boy.
he claims that its $8 per hour. i find it such an atttractive offer because i never been a bell boy b4.
not exactly fun but interesting i believe.
then mervyn wanna knock off work early @ 5pm to hunt for his mr bean bear.
so i haf got no choice but to pon teng as well.
so knocked off early went to pan pacific hotel for interview.
then the indian guy murugen or something told me need to trim my hair and oni $6 per hour which is less than my starhub basic job. jeremy immediately take it up cause he hate the starhub job to the max. i am still ok ~ and ask me trim my hair i dun want already.
so went on to meet tay and yb @ chinatown for $10 ktv then end up $16.

PART 1 : STREET SOCCER

today is such an important date for all of us. cause its the BIG match. and also its a long time since we played soccer together too.
and so the day started with soccer @ siglap cc and i was the one who booked the court.
scorching hot weather all out to test our fitness and determination. total 12 of us unexpectedly end up haf to play league.

no pics taken but this is just a demonstration by Tay Ji Wei on how to blast the ball out as close to the road as possible.

after it our soccer ended. we splitted into 2 groups. me my brother and yuan wei went back to my house to bath, the rest went to yip house to bath and order mcdonald's.

PART 2 : THE BIG MATCH

and so its finally the showdown between MAN UTD and CHELSEA. will chelsea be once again the EPL champions. or will man utd fight till the end with the last bit of hope remaining.

so the advance party took a pic of themselves.

and so we arrived me yuan wei me and my brother arrived in red to show our support for the red devils.

but ....
freaking 4th minute Gallas scored from a corner when Silvestre [ Mr Heart-Attack] left him unmarked all of a sudden.
on the 22nd minute Rooney Wonderkid leaped past the defense and find himself on a 1-1 situation with Petr Cech but only find himself wide from scoring.
and so all hopes pinning on getting an equaliser back by halftime but it ended 1-0.
2nd half was awful. joe cole did a heng wondergoal from a tight angle at 60th minute.
followed by carvalho scored from cutting in at another tight angle on the 72nd minute.
3-0.
fate is sealed.

PART 3 : POST MATCH CELEBRATIONS / CONSOLATIONS

and of course true blue daniel started his celebrations. kissing the mcdonalds cup as if it was the trophy.

but daniel is encouraging enuff to console 2 majority group of ppl.

such a nice show. went to watch with tay, yuan wei and marvin. tay left the theatre halfway to go buy his 700 dollar phone. man he missed a nice show. typical heartwarming ending with abit of the twist with the bruce willis being part of the cops whom commited crimes together. after that they went to protect their phone with weird designs at ps. not cheap at all man.

today i totally fucked myself up. although the victims are mainly my friends. so why is that so ? i have this army dude zhi wei whos birthday is like today. and he invited me to his birthday chalet last week, and he told medate and so i am like ok. and posted it as a note on my computer desktop so i wun forget. so i sorta remembered its this friday. so as i was working with effin, merv and tham. i kept reminding them that its today and told them to take off today to go zhi weis chalet. and also i told kenny. and moreover, i hurrily tried to go get a present for him as well. so today i asked them to meet and go together. but as stephen is driving them to the chalet, i only met up with kenny.
so its supposed to be chalet "i", then on our way there, zhong lin called me asked if it was chalet "i"? cause there are indians partying in the house. i told them yes. he said never mind. and he went on to called zhi wei. and this is their conversation.
tham:"hey zhi wei ur chalet issit chalet 'i' ?"
zhi wei:"correct"
tham while horning in stephens car:"ok can u hear my horn now ? come out and pick us"
zhi wei:"u mean u are there already?!"

so later we caught up with them and went marina for carl's junior and suntec for this movie called "hostel". strongly recommend but its R21. first 30 minutes was woohoo ~ all the tits and all ~ next 1 hour was "bleah vomit". cut off ur fingers, drill ur thigh, slit off ur leg nerves, hammer ur head, stitch ur chest, dig out ur eye, blowtorch ur eye, chain saw ur legs... so on so forth. so i hope u guys haf a great time watching. i am serious. shit man after the whole movie i was like thinking "hahaha !@#! man. its totally not worth the tits in the beginning"

ok so tonight at around 12 midnight. kenny sent me this link about xbox 360.
about clues being hidden around the island and if u are able to hunt them down. you are entitled a 360. and so this began with view cam 5 that is supposedly gotta be "this place that kenny said it is". so in the middle of the night. kenny drove me there and with our torchlights we went around searching. anything to looked like the damn pic shown in the bloody cam.
"man it gotta be here larh !" hunch is not exactly working well for me as the trip end up some sortta wasted.
but niway the main purpose of this night excursion is for some good kickass super @ simpang bedok. so hey we complained about each others job and stuff like that. until now i am back at home and my eye lids are barely holding themselves in place. man i need to knock out now.

previous week at starhub was ok.
although the job is boring. but quite motivated to do work in the sense tat we know the leads of customers they give us got chance to sign up.
but since sunday. they gave us homebiz leads.
omg.
basically just a name and a home number no i.c number no nothing.
so how da phuck are we gonna sell to dem.
good question.
so thereafter our toilet breaks became more frequent. u see our movement become more sluggish.
just as good as the entire office is in slow motion.
cause most of da time u call and ask for the person. either hes not around. not interested. moved house. or worst of all...
he passed away.
dun be surprised i call and look for this mr soh and soh. he passed away for 12 years.
marvin actually called a guy who haf deceased for 20 years already.
of course we must say sorry to the family.
but hey that makes me less inclined to make calls for sure.
hopefully the leads gets better.
bugis is such a nice place.
with ah pehs selling snakes, cooking rice without fire and all.

although i do get rude calls and customers raising volume at me.
but i do get good customers that talk to me.
about her son use to top the class but now buang his exams become bottom of class. in sec 2. chinese lep although parents speak english. rebellious but not rebellious as in rebellious as she said. promised his mum he will score well for his mid year exams. loves soccer will set alarm clock wake up at 4 in the morning to watch soccer. parents very worried. she just resigned her job so very free to answer my call and talk to me. although she didnt sign up for cable tv. it made my day a happier one definitely.

i also get great customers like miss delve who really supported me and took up cable tv. and i introduced her the best promotion at the best bargain and even offered to sign her up for hub club on a personal basis. she even wanted to offer to introduce me to her sister. *introduce as in subscribing for cable tv.

out of 10 calls u made. 2 are farkers. 7 still ok. 1 is nice person to tok to.

for that 1 nice person to tok to every 10 calls. i love my job.
